One of the most talked about recreation activities at Big Sky is the Zipline Tour and Twin Zip. After you hike a short distance you will get to zoom over trees and terrain on three different zip lines. If you’re in the mood for a race, then take the Twin Zip to see just how fast you can go. If you’re a snowshoe enthusiast, then Big Sky has you covered. They offer afternoon tours at the Lone Mountain Ranch. This is a fantastic way to explore the areas of the national park. Don’t forget to dress in layers, bring some snacks for munching along the way, and your sunscreen.

Big Sky’s High Ropes course is another amusing activity that is not just for kids. Think of it as an obstacle course suspended 20-30 ft. off of the ground. There are ten sections like the Swinging Beams and the Pirates Crossing. This is great for a group activity or for the whole family. Participants must be at least 11 years old and 3 ft. tall.

If you’re looking for something to do during the late afternoon/early evening hours then snow tubing is a good choice. The Tube Park slopes cost around $15 per person for an hour of use. You will feel like a kid again as you rush down the slopes on the inflated tube. It’s no wonder that this is a wintertime favorite.

How would you like to rejuvenate your mind and body? If yes, then you need to visit the Solace Spa at Big Sky Resort. They offer a wide array of massages and treatments to make you feel brand new. For those of you who want to maintain your fitness routine, you can drop by the Wellness Studio, located in the Village center.
