Innsbruck
Innsbruck is a beautiful city; not too big and not too small, it is nestled in a picturesque valley, with part of the city climbing up the steep wall of the Alps to the north and other ranges looming to the south. Innsbruck itself is a mélange of Baroque churches, gabled houses, and twisting streets, a few so narrow that cars can’t drive through. Enjoy taking photos of medieval houses surrounded by snow-covered peaks. However, there’s a lot more than scenery to keep you busy. There is abundance of culture and outdoor activities.
Prague
Lying at the heart of Europe, it is one of the continent’s finest cities. It has a rich architectural heritage of Bohemia history and an urban life.
Prague is famous for its cultural life. The writings of Franz Kafka seem indissolubly linked with life in this city. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived there. His Prague Symphony and Don Giovanni were first performed here. The music of Smetana, Dvořák, Janáček is commemorated each year in a spring music festival.
České Budějovice
The capital of South Bohemia: České Budějovice is the Czech way to say the name of this city while Budweis is the German way to say the name of the city. It founded in the mid-13th century as a royal city. Because of the purity of the local water, České Budějovice started to brew beer from the 13th century. The city at one time had more than 40 breweries, and its product was known as the Beer of Kings.
