Davos Klosters is the highest town in Europe and one of its largest winter sports areas. The ski resort offers varied slopes ranging from an altitude of 5,120 to 9,330 ft. There are numerous ski lifts taking skiers and snowboarders up to the mountain tops.
The ski resort Davos is a winter sports metropolis and almost an eldorado for snowboarding and downhill fans as well as Nordic skiers, ice sports enthusiasts and winter walkers. Five sledge (sled) runs of a length between 1.5 and 5.5 miles guarantee toboggan fun as well. This town is conveniently located in the midst of several resorts; Parsenn, Pischa, Rinerhorn, Jakobshorn and Klosters.
A ski holiday in Davos has plenty to offer to night owls, too – rustic mountain inns, restaurants, night clubs, hotel bars, theatre, concert hall and casino.
