Top-quality, style, and character: your Italian dream holiday in Courmayeur Mont Blanc
Courmayeur is the quintessential Italian holiday: sport, fun, shopping, good food and excellent wine on the most beautiful side of Mont Blanc
The old village is perched under beautiful Mt. Blanc (15,780 feet), the highest mountain in Europe. Courmayeur is a long time favorite of ours and clients ask to return year after year. The locals are friendly, the skiing and snowfall abundant, and the nightlife lively.
With great ski terrain, lively village and stunning restaurants to boot, Courmayeur is a top choice for all skiers. The centre of the village is car-free with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, and a fabulous après-ski scene.
Slopes are best for intermediate skiers, although experts will love the heliskiing and off-piste opportunities. Courmayeur caters for all levels of skier, offering the most variety and scope to intermediates. However, beginners also have plenty of opportunities here, and experts will particularly love the off-piste terrain and heliskiing opportunities. The descents available here include the Toula Glacier and the Vallée Blanche, with its 15 miles (24 km) of intermediate off-piste from the Punta Helbronner (3,462 m) all the way down to Chamonix.
If you’re not skiing, you won’t be short of things to see and do in Courmayeur. From browsing the plethora of shops and boutiques along Courmayeur’s cobbled streets, to enjoying a lively café and bar culture at après-ski time, this is a charming and interesting place to explore at all hours of the day.
